Identity Theft
 - it’s not about your Social Security number!

By Mitch Roberts

The real identity thief is not the one attacking your credit score, it is the one that assaults your sense of belonging and has you question Whose you are. It is the one who whispers in your ear that you are not worthy of God’s love, no one cares about you, or that you are incapable of helping others. It is the enemy that creates the subtle shift from a heritage that promotes hard work and accountability to a prideful, self-sufficiency. It is the one that drives us into isolation and hardens our hearts - separating us further from living in our true identity.

Can we shift our focus to work together and discover who we really are as individuals, as well as realize who we are in the body of Christ?

We are surrounded by people that are literally dying for an encounter with God. If we know the love and joy that is lavished upon us, how can we NOT share with others?  From cradle Catholics to those that have never been in a church, we can all benefit from time in His divine presence. Who do you know that needs to be healed physically, emotionally or spiritually? Who do you know that has been aching for a place to grow in their charisms?

It seems easy to understand the analogy of the body in 1st Corinthians  and how much we need each other. It is such a blessing to see the beauty in God’s design for us to grow when we not only serve others, but also act in humility by renouncing pride and come willing to receive. We are designed to cooperate, to work in conjunction with one another and to be unified to this point: “if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” 1 Cor.  12:26

Our spiritual identity needs to be awakened so we can embrace our royal inheritance. We have been given power and authority to spread the gospel.  Matt 10:7- 8: “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. This scripture is a reality we can take part in and share with others at a new WWCCR initiative called Dwelling Place Healing Nights.

“Behold, God’s dwelling is with the human race.
He will dwell with them and they will be his people…
...He will wipe every tear from their eyes and there shall be
no more death or mourning, wailing or pain.” Revelation 21: 3-4.

Dwelling Place:

  • Where we can come together to be soaked in prayer, praise and worship, and usher in the Holy Spirit.

  • Where we can share our gifts with the body of Christ and discover our true identities.

  • Where we can bring lost souls to an encounter with God.

Our pilot location will be at St Stephen the Martyr Church in Renton and will begin on April 22nd. We expect to see great healings, signs and wonders as God’s glory is manifested. All are very, very welcome. Help us spread the word and join us in thanksgiving for His unlimited blessings. Please come with expectation and bring others that seek healing and an unveiling of their true identity.
