Guest Speaker:

at St. Michael Church
1512 Pine Ave. Snohomish, WA

August 15, 2009 truly was a Day of Renewal, refreshment and new commitment for those who came to St Michael Church in Snohomish.  Wow!!! We were blessed and challenged with solid teaching by Peter Herbeck of Renewal Ministries.  We were spiritually fed by the teaching and praise & worship and physically fed through the wonderful meal provided by the Knights of Columbus.  The call to evangelize was heard by all and will be taken back to our parishes with renewed vigor.

To give a taste of the day here are some answers to two of the questions from our evaluation forms. You may order the CDs of the talks below or download this insert and order form HERE.

What do you think was God’s message for you?”

  • He wants me to be BOLDER & He wants me to step out in Faith!!!

  • Yield to God.  I can (really) trust Him.

  • That He loves me and is with me.

  • To work on  my siblings to come back to Him.

  • That we are expected (our mission) to evangelize.

  • Stand firm in my work...Take courage...Share my story.

  • Forget past fears of talking about Jesus to our children.

  • Be free and keep it simple when you evangelize.

  • To speak up and not be fearful.

  • God wants me to be bold, forget fear & shame & worry about the material of this world.

  • Hope - Evangelize.

  • Be happy & trust Me.

  • That I can never out-give Him.

  • To make a firmer stand for Jesus. If I see someone that needs help to not hesitate but go forward to help.

  • Trust!

  • I need to speak my faith and witness my love for Jesus.

  • I wasn’t all in. I gave all the chips to Jesus, to God for use by the Spirit.

  • God loves me & has a plan for me.

  • Giving ALL things in my life to God.

  • He gives me strength, (spiritual) power, & courage to struggle on.

  • Tell others about Jesus - use words!!

  • Get with it! Commit! Trust in Me (the Lord)!

  • Have faith, share your faith, don’t be afraid.

  • To continue the evangelization of our son, & his new wife and children - that they will come to know Jesus and to know especially that He created them, that they are “His idea” and it’s good they exist.

  • To stay strong, to risk and know that He is always with me.
