Your Help Is
Important!
It’s been a few months since we’ve
included a financial report in GLEANINGS.
This brings you up-to-date on the current situation.
We don’t have a reserve fund – we get by month to month just like many of
you do in your households. We’d ask
you to consider making a commitment to send a donation, month to month, when you
receive GLEANINGS. It’s between you
and God to decide how much you can send, and it might be a different amount each
month, but your help is important to the continuation of this ministry.

2010 Financial Update
We continue to thank God, and thank
you, for the financial support you have given so far this year.
Since we last reported, 10 more people have sent in one-time gifts and 20
more people have made pledges. The
total response so far to our Pledge appeal totals:

Whether you have made a pledge or
not, we urge you to use the envelope we include each month in the newsletter to
send a donation to support our focus for 2010: Unleashing Spiritual Gifts in
Community.
In 2010, we will include monthly
and year-to-date accounting of income & expenses.
Because of the accounting cycle and the date of publication, we will
normally publish data from 3 months earlier.

Thank you, all you
who have responded by returning the Pledge Form!
In January we
mailed out a letter encouraging you to “stride forward with us to meet the
challenges of 2010.” Our focus for
the year is: Unleashing Spiritual Gifts in Community.
We are confident that this
has already begun and will continue throughout the year.
Of the 83 who have
returned the pledge cards (as of February 10), we have received the following:
10 one-time
gifts totaling:

67 making
pledges totaling:
$34,819.00

to praying for WWCCR

For the sake of
comparison, by this time last year, we had 130 people pledging a total of
$54,313. And by the end of last year, we had $96,258 in donations from pledges.
To be fair, we need to take into account that the mailing went out a
little later this year, so we expect that
the difference will be made up soon, as people have time to respond.
But as this demonstrates, we have a long way to go!
The desire to
unleash spiritual gifts in community is not for our own sake, but for the sake
of our children, grandchildren, neighbors, and friends.
Ultimately, it is for the sake of renewing the face of the earth,
empowered by the Holy Spirit. Please
don’t delay in joining the 83 others who have already returned their pledge
cards. No matter how little or how
big your sacrifices, they make a difference!
We know how
quickly time passes by, and it’s easy to put a letter aside and not get back to
it right away. We would appeal to
you right now, to take a moment to send in your pledge or your one-time gift.

As always, we
include an envelope with each newsletter, so you can send in your monthly
donations easily. WWCCR is
financially supported almost totally by individuals like yourself, although we
occasionally receive donations from prayer groups and parishes as well.
