WWCCR 2007 Financial Report

by Virginia King
WWCCR Executive Director

March 2008 - For the first time in many years, WWCCR finished 2007 "in the black." This was in large part due to payroll cuts that the staff took in order to "make ends meet." Between their willing sacrifice and the generosity of many donors, we ended the year with positive cash flow. The Board of Directors and the staff are committed to maintaining a balanced budget. As good stewards of the gifts that God provides, we are committed to the careful and responsible management of the resources entrusted to our care.

At a time when the Lord is opening many doors of opportunity for the advancement of the WWCCR Vision and Mission, we are aware that there may be difficult decisions to make, in order to not overspend the resources we have – not only financial resources but also the time and energy of our many dedicated volunteers.

We are confident that if every one of you who reads this newsletter responds to the best of your ability to give of your time, talent and treasure, the work of WWCCR will not only be maintained but will make dramatic strides forward in 2008 and beyond.

To God be the glory!
